Public transport
From the airports Sheremetyevo-1,-2
1. "Marshrutnoe taxi" (a van) to a Metro Station (either "Rechnoj Vokzal" or "Planernaya", both are acceptable) can be found just out the doors of the arrival level (Sheremetyevo-2) (about 30 rubles = $1)
2. Take Metro to go to the "Universitet" station (see Metro Scheme) (7 rubles, trasfers are free)
From the Jaroslavsky, Kazansky, Leningradsky railway stations
Take Metro to go to the "Universitet" station, direct "red" line (see Metro Scheme) (7 rubles)

Metropolitan Moscow
The best way from the Sheremetyevo airport by taxi is Moscow Ring Road, counter-clockwise, to Leninskiy prospekt, prospekt Vernadskogo. Moscow State University is located near the cross of prospect Vernadskogo with Lomonosovskiy prospect (shown but not subscribed on the plan available by the hyperlink)
